Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll is now 223 following the death of eight more patients, the Ghana Health Service has reported.
In its latest update on its website, GHS said it has recorded 168 new cases.
This takes the total national tally to 41,572.
The number of active cases has also reduced fallen to 2,029.
Five of them are in critical condition while 18 others are in severe condition.
So far, 39,320 patients have recovered and been discharged.
