Four children were burnt to death when fire gutted a four-bedroom house in Amasaman Fise in the Ga Central District of the Greater Accra Region.
They were sleeping in one of the rooms of the property when the incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, 28 October 2020.
The cause of the fire is not readily known.
An eyewitness told Accra100.5FM’s mid-day news that the siblings’ mother locked them up and left with the key for an all-night service.
A gas cylinder also exploded in the inferno, he added.
According to him, the mother fainted upon hearing of the news.
