Knutsford University College in Accra has won the 2021 Global University of the Year Award as well as the International Award of Global Business Excellence.
A press release made available to the Ghana News Agency said the University was rewarded based on its equitable but affordable university education in Ghana, Africa and across the world as well as its academic facilities, programmes, staff and management and learning environment.
Bishop John Kwamena Essel, the Pro-Vice Chancellor and Founder of Knutsford University College, said the global recognition was a testament of the crucial role of private universities in meeting the country’s educational needs for national development.
“The global awards challenge us to offer more services, which are qualitative in content and global in scope so as to project Ghana as the preferred destination for education,” he said.
Bishop Essel commended the management and teaching staff of the University for their efforts, which won the University the award.
Knutsford University College is a private university in Ghana accredited by the National Accreditation Board and affiliated to the University of Ghana and the University for Development Studies.
