Media personality Stacy Amoateng has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ghana Library Authority to renovate some libraries in the country.
The MoU, signed on 2 September 2020, signifies a partnership to collaborate and boost the image of libraries in Ghana.
Making the announcement via her Instagram page, the TV hostess noted that the first phase of renovations will take place in 10 libraries across Ghana.
These include; Brong Ahafo Regional Library (Sunyani), Dormaa District Library (Dormaa), Tarawa Library (Western), Volta Regional Library (Ho) and Abura Dunkwa Library.
The rest are Laterbiokoshie Library (Accra), Ashanti Regional Library, Bongo District Library (Upper East), Koforidua Children’s Library and Damongo Library.
She also disclosed that entertainment units will be set up to give children fun-filled learning experiences.
As part of the partnership, readers’ clubs across the country will be made vibrant by introducing compelling competitions.
“I signed a partnership with Ghana Library Authority today to collaborate and boost the image of libraries in Ghana,” Stacy said.
