President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has told supporters of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to assume he has already won the 7 December polls but to go out and vote on election day to ensure victory for the party.

President Akufo-Addo was speaking at a rally at Kwesimintsim in the Western Region, as part of his tour of the region.

He urged supporters of the party not to make the mistake of assuming a win for the party without going out to vote in the polls.

“Nobody should think that Nana has won already so you won’t vote, that will be a big mistake, my victory won’t be complete if you don’t vote.

“Nobody here should make that mistake, come out in your numbers and vote ‘Boom!Boom!! Boom!!!’”.

President Akufo-Addo also cautioned supporters of the party against voting “skirt and blouse” in the polls.

He reminded the supporters of the Party about the at Kwesimintsim Constituency being a traditional seat for the NPP and reiterated that the party cannot attain victory in the polls if they do not go out on election day.

He also called on supporters to vote for the party’s Parliamentary candidate, Dr Prince Hamid Armah.

Dr Armah is the Acting Director-General for the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA).
