Founder and General Overseer of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), Apostle Francis Amoako Attah has expressed repulsion at some Gold producing countries including Ghana’s decision to go to International Monetary Fund (IMF) for bailout.

According to him, no matter how and the form a depression may take, there is no justification for an oil producing country to go through depression and any crisis.

He was speaking on Angel fm’s Anopa Bofo program today, on the ongoing economic depression and the decision by countries to run to the IMF for bailout.

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah revealed that what is happening currently across the world was a message he gave some two years ago, November 2020, when he spoke about the major shifts that would take over the world.

He averred that as stated in Revelation 6: 6 “Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” the Global economic crisis was long prophesied and it must take countries with great leaders to understand and decode the message and gather for this period.

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah said African countries should have stood strong and work towards their survival since the IMF which is founded on the vision of working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world, has failed on that vision.

He said is indeed the IMF believes in its vision, it would not be overburdening countries with conditionalities, job losses, cut in employment as conditions for bailout.

“We heard the UN has picked 107 countries who are expected to suffer the most of the depression and Egypt happens to be the first. Anytime Egypt is involved in anything, there is going to be a paradigm shift,” he said.
This is the time, he said, each country must “set up very well.”

He explained from the Bible; Genesis 47: 13-16 that, “There was no food, however, in the whole region because the famine was severe; both Egypt and Canaan wasted away because of the famine. Joseph collected all the money that was to be found in Egypt and Canaan in payment for the grain they were buying, and he brought it to Pharaoh’s palace. When the money of the people of Egypt and Canaan was gone, all Egypt came to Joseph and said, “Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? Our money is all gone. Then bring your livestock,” said Joseph. “I will sell you food in exchange for your livestock, since your money is gone.” According to him, this is the time Ghana get a better finance minister, so that as 2022 approaches, he will begin to gather so as not to allow the country be plunged into such a mess.

“This is the time you must go for a Joseph person. The Bible said,…and Joseph gathered up all the money. Money has failed Egypt and money has failed Ghana. Look, there was no Joseph from 2020 to gather something into our treasury for 2022, now money has failed. Our Cedi has failed, Our economy has failed. Anytime money fails, everything comes to a standstill,” he said.

He stressed however that Ghana is going to IMF because money has failed and because there is war in Ukraine but demands to know which form of bailout our leaders are going for, whether it is “Commercial money, commodity money, or Gold money?”

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah also pointed out that Africa is suffering because of the Purpose and as Money is the greatest test, Africa leaders failed in that test.

“Money never makes leaders, but money reveal the character and attitude of leaders,” he said.
