Zipline Ghana has hinted of plans to start delivery of medical products to fourteen out of the eighteen municipalities and districts in the Volta region via specialised drones from November 29, this year.

Some parts of the Eastern region would also benefit from this operation by the company, which aimed at ensuring that health facilities in hard-to-reach communities have access to medical supplies to take care of the health needs of the people.

Mr Kusi Amoatin, the Community-lead Zipline Ghana, made this known when he led a team to pay a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Dr Archibald Yao Letsa.

He said the deliveries would be done from the company’s newly built station at Anum in the Eastern region, adding that the Vice President, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia would commission the station after the first delivery.

Dr Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister commended the company for the establishment of the station and the move to hit the Region with the operation.

He said the operation would be a great benefit to the region, because it would aid in quick delivery of medical supplies to the Region for timely and effective medical services.
